Ready to kickstart your career in software consulting?

We're looking for soon-to-be graduates who want to make a real business impact through technology. The Columbia Road Associate Program is a one-year, part-time trainee program designed to offer hands-on experience in client work and support professional growth.

You’ll work side by side with experienced consultants, solving real-life business problems using modern technologies – and having fun while doing it.

Who we are

Columbia Road was founded in 2016 to challenge the old ways of doing digital business. Our mission is to help companies sell better in the digital era. We focus on measurable results – not just building IT systems – using a mix of software development, design, marketing, strategy, and data engineering.

We’re a community-led company, built on trust, transparency, and a low hierarchy. Everyone here has a voice in company-wide decisions. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of who we are. We’re proud of our 4.6/5 rating on Glassdoor – and always looking to do even better.

What you’ll do

As an Associate Developer, you’ll join our cross-functional group of professionals working on everything from web apps to backend services – helping our clients grow their digital sales. You’ll work with technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, Apex and more. Many of our projects revolve around CRM, Marketing Automation, Websites & e-commerce.

Whether your background is in frontend, backend, mobile or data, doesn't matter - what matters most is that you’re eager to learn.

You’ll work closely with other developers, designers, marketers, and business consultants, collaborating directly with client teams. The work is hands-on and you’ll be given real responsibility from day one, with the support of a senior team to guide your growth.

This program is for you if:

  • You're a soon to be graduate student with some industry experience from projects or part-time work in software development
  • You’re curious, motivated, and eager to grow professionally
  • You approach problems analytically and want to understand the business impact of your work
  • You’re comfortable communicating your ideas and working in agile teams
  • You’re not afraid to present your thoughts and try out new ways of working
  • You enjoy fast-paced environments and want to learn by doing
  • You have professional proficiency in both English and Swedish
