Project Management is responsible for Project execution including fulfillment of scope, quality, financial, and time constraints.
We have two project management models to apply:- Projects where a gate model is used as guidance or as governance support.
- Projects within the SAFe setup at UM.
In this case, the project is called an EPIC, and the project owner is called Epic owner.
Senior PM / Senior Epic Owner: Lead the execution of medium-sized to large and moderately complex projects / Epics and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.
Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project handover, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.Senior Project Manager with the support of the project team / SAFe team is responsible for the successful execution /delivery of the assigned project(s) on time, within budget, and within quality & safety framework.
- Certified SAFe Agilist, Scrum Master, Product Owner/ Product Manager
- Ability to work with projects of different sizes, complexit,y and contractual types.
- Ability to assess, propose and implement solutions for rapid recovery of troubled or challenged projects (need-based).
- Minimum six (6) years experience managing projects, within relevant fields, ideally managing complex projects.
- Relevant field for MACH EPIC owners is Electronics product development including Hardware, software, FPGA, and mechanics development.
- Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience within a relevant field.
