About the role
We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of Corporate Communications to lead the development and execution of Sinch’s global communications strategy. You’ll be responsible for shaping and amplifying our corporate narrative, managing media relations, guiding executive visibility, and aligning messaging across all touchpoints — internally and externally.
This is a key leadership role that works closely with our executive team, sustainability function, investor relations, HR, and our central and regional marketing leads in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to ensure cohesive and impactful communications across the globe.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Communications Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive, globally-aligned corporate communications strategy that supports Sinch’s business goals and brand promise.
- Media & Public Relations: Build and manage relationships with top-tier media and key industry voices. Lead proactive storytelling and press engagement to grow Sinch’s visibility and relevance.
- Executive Communications: Partner with Sinch’s leadership team to craft compelling executive content — including speeches, bylines, and keynotes — that reflects our strategic priorities and brand voice.
- Internal Communications: Design and deliver internal communications that inform, inspire, and engage employees across functions and regions, supporting alignment and cultural cohesion.
- Crisis & Issues Management: Act as the communications lead for sensitive and high-impact situations, ensuring clarity, speed, and coordination in response.
- Financial Communications: Partner with our Investor Relations team to support quarterly earnings and any other financial messaging when necessary
- Sustainability Communications: Partner with our Sustainability organization to communicate Sinch’s ESG efforts and achievements to key stakeholders.
- Regional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Regional Marketing teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to align corporate messaging with local market strategies and opportunities.
- Brand Voice & Messaging: Ensure consistent narrative and tone across all communications channels — from press releases and internal updates to social media and digital platforms.
- Agency & Partner Management: Lead and manage relationships with external PR agencies and communication vendors to scale efforts efficiently and effectively.
The role is based at SINCH HQ in Stockholm and report to the CMO, Jonathan Bean.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, or brand storytelling — preferably in global B2B tech or SaaS environments.
- Proven success in building and executing integrated communications strategies at scale.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills — with the ability to adapt tone and content across audiences and formats.
- Experience advising senior leaders and managing executive visibility initiatives.
- Skilled in issues management and crisis communication.
- Strong cross-functional communicator with global fluency and cultural awareness.
- Experience working closely with regional marketing or field teams across geographies.
- Leadership skills with experience building collaborative, high-performing teams while staying hands-on.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and purpose-driven communication.
- Fluency in Swedish and English is a requirement.
