Frontend developer with CMS to a global retail company
We're now looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to contribute to one of the agile development teams working onsite in Malmö.
This full-time consulting assignment starts as soon as possible and runs until August 31, 2025 – with strong potential for extension.
About the role
In this role, you’ll be embedded in a cross-functional development team where you’ll contribute to building and maintaining customer-facing digital solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with other developers, product owners, and analysts in a global environment, supporting both new development and production systems with a strong focus on customer value.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with an agile team to design, develop, and maintain frontend solutions using modern frameworks
- Work on both new functionality and ongoing maintenance of existing systems
- Ensure seamless integration with CMS platforms and cloud environments
- Apply A/B testing and data-driven approaches to optimize customer experience
- Engage in end-to-end development practices, from business understanding to deployment and monitoring
- Support continuous improvement through operationalization and data feedback loops
- Communicate effectively with a global network of stakeholders and team members
- Contribute to the team’s DevOps and agile methodologies
About you
You’re an experienced frontend developer with a strong foundation in JavaScript frameworks and modern development practices. With over five years of experience, you’re comfortable working in agile environments and have a holistic understanding of product development lifecycles.Your international mindset and excellent communication skills make you a valuable contributor to globally distributed teams. Any prior experience with IKEA (Ingka/Inter) is considered a strong plus.
Experience and skills- 5+ years of experience in frontend development
- Proficient in React.js and Node.js
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as Sitecore or similar
- Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Skilled in JavaScript (ES6) and/or TypeScript
- Knowledge of A/B testing and data analysis practices
- Experience with data lakes and BI tools
- Solid understanding of DevOps and agile workflows
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Previous experience with IKEA (Ingka/Inter) is a plus
