Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for the future? If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.

Are you passionate about delivering top-quality products and supporting customer success? If so, we’d be thrilled to see your application for the Product Quality Leader position in our Quality & Customer Satisfaction team. Together, we will play a key role in advancing quality in the Electromobility sector.

How you will make an impact

In this central role within our quality strategy, you’ll work alongside eight other Product Quality Leaders, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the quality of our most innovative technology: Electromobility. Much of your work will center on issue detection and pre-study areas.

Using a variety of data sources—such as telematics, warranties, market reports, Technical Support, our dealer network, and brand feedback—you will identify quality issues and prioritize them based on their impact on customers and our business.

From there, you’ll conduct pre-investigations, detailing failure modes and their business implications, and support Product Owners in implementing effective corrective actions.

Our primary goal is to quickly identify and resolve critical quality issues, ideally before they reach the customer. As a PQL, you will also play a key role in ensuring clear communication regarding product quality and customer satisfaction within Volvo Group Trucks Technology and with stakeholders.

Who are you?
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering in a relevant technical field, along with several years of relevant experience from a similar role. You have strong skills in quality tools and a quality-focused mindset. You bring proficiency in data analytics, visualization, and storytelling, allowing you to convey information effectively to a variety of audiences.

With solid project management and leadership abilities, you excel in organizing and executing tasks.

Additionally, you have:
  • A background in electromobility, electronics or software development – preferably within the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics

Familiarity with Volvo AB products, applications, and processes (e.g., CPI, Agile methodologies) and experience with JIRA, KOLA, IMPACT, ARGUS, EDB, VDB, VDA, LVD, and UCHP is a big plus.

As a person, you are driven to create real value for customers and the business, with a strong focus on achieving results. Communication is one of your top strengths, and you take full ownership of your work. With honesty and integrity, you naturally gain the trust of those around you, and your positive outlook and relationship skills make you an effective negotiator, leader and collaborator.

You enjoy finding new, efficient ways to improve and succeed, creating effective workflows and confidently presenting you and your teams' ideas to leadership. Your curiosity drives you to tackle challenges creatively, identifying patterns in complex information for a deep understanding of every detail.
