Job Description:
As a Principal AI Architect on our cyber security team, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing AI solutions that enhance our security posture and align with Volvo's strategic goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable AI architectures, drive AI adoption, lead novel AI security research projects, and ensure the successful deployment of AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of AI architectures and solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into AI strategies.
- Steer enterprise AI adoption with a deep understanding of the EU AI Act and relevant regulations.
- Oversee the implementation of AI models and algorithms.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of AI systems.
- Mentor and guide junior AI engineers and data scientists.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and cyber security technologies.
- Foster academic AI research partnerships with a high level of engagement.
- Drive innovation, security, and continuous improvement in AI practices.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in AI architecture, AI agent systems, and solution design.
- Strong knowledge of LLMs, neural networks, deep learning, federated learning, and tool-calling.
- Ability to evaluate models against exploits such as prompt injection, data poisoning, and exfiltration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Mojo, or Go Lang.
- Experience with AI frameworks and tools like Tensor Flow, Py Torch, Hugging Face, Vllm, Ray, or Nims.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
