AAK Location
This part time position is based at our AAK Biotech Lab in Lund, Sweden, in close connection with R&D Team based in AAK’s global headquarters in Malmo, Sweden.
About the role & Responsibilities
As a lab specialist, you will join our experienced R&D team and have the opportunity to work with different instrument and learn valuable experience and skills in laboratory organisations, instrument operations and run basic experiments/assays.
- Active engagement in lab organization and chemical handling/classifications
- Follow established methods with high precision and share detailed reports in a structured manner.
- Familiar with routine maintenance and safety checks on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Being responsible for resource estimation and experiment time planning.
- Adhering to hygienic, cleaning and safety protocols and report any malfunctional signs during dairy-weekly reports.
- MSc graduate and/or student in Biotechnology, chemistry, food science, microbiology and/or other relevant fields.
- Passion for wet-lab practical with deep interest in laboratory organization and instruments maintenance.
- Demonstrate basic problem-solving attitudes with high degree of flexibility.
- Strong English language skills; familiarity with Swedish is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
(We anticipate that you'll work an up to 20 hours per week.)
