Supply Chain Coordinator

We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Order Management Solutions team (OMS) at DHL Global Forwarding in Gothenburg. This is a full-time and permanent position.
Supply Chain Coordinator
You will be an important member of our team of experienced and professional Supply Chain coordinators.
OMS is interfacing with many areas of the business to provide end to end Supply Chain solutions to customers. OMS provides logistics services from origins to destinations, through a solution based on following activities: Account Management and control towers in Europe and Asia / Purchase Order Management / Vendor Management / Origin consolidation in Asia (CFS) / Supply chain visibility at order, product and shipment levels via tracking system.On a strategic perspective, OMS offers process improvements, continuous innovations and cost reductions.
Key Activities:
- First point of contact for all OMS operational issues and customer queries
- Preparation of regular daily, weekly, monthly reports and KPI Packs
- Work in line with the SOP to ensure service levels to the customer are upheld.
- Maintain and develop close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Daily communication with origin Control Towers to support operational queries and vendor compliance.
- Support other Supply Chain Coordinators on other accounts within the Nordic and Central/Eastern Europe region working in a truly international environment.
- Resolve issues, analysis and recurrence prevention.
Qualifications & Experience
We need a pro-active, solution oriented individual who has a positive outlook and a can-do attitude. Someone who is keen to learn and provide the ‘best’ customer service at the highest level of quality.- Freight Forwarding Experience is desirable
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel skills - Able to manipulate data using pivots, vlookups and IF statements.
- Infor Nexus Experience or excellent ability to understand new systems quickly
- Excellent customer service skills and customer focused – Be confident in working with customers on a daily basis
- Strong organizational skills & excellent ability to prioritize workload
- Problem Solving - Able to identify issues for escalation and suggest corrective action
- Support Change – Able to support change and suggest ways of development
- Team Working - Ensure coherent process and structure is adhered to, whilst demonstrating the relevant initiative and drive to be able to work independently
- University degree within Logistics is a merit
- Languages: Fluent in Swedish & English verbal/written communication
