What you’ll do:We make touch and eye tracking based assistive technology for people with communication and mobility challenges. The success of our products has life-changing impact on our customers. Our Research & Development Team develops the hardware, software, and other technology that makes that impact possible.
We’re on the lookout for a UX Designer with a strong passion for accessibility and design systems to join us. In this role, you’ll create intuitive, user-focused interfaces for software, allowing individuals with communication challenges to express themselves using innovative eye-tracking technology.What You’ll Do:
Champion System Thinking: Craft scalable, reusable solutions that seamlessly align across platforms and products.
Develop and Document Design Standards: Establish design principles, components, interaction patterns, and design tokens rooted in accessibility guidelines to promote consistency across our software suite.
Ensure Seamless Collaboration: Prepare comprehensive design documentation for smooth handovers to our development teams.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, developers, speech therapists, and fellow designers to create user-centric solutions that are aligned with our goals.We have a hybrid model so you will be able to have the mix of working both from our office at Löjtnantsgatan 25 and from the comfort of your own home.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven UX Experience: A solid background in UX design with a portfolio that showcases your ability to deliver impactful projects. (If you don’t have a portfolio, tell us why – we’re interested in your story!)
- Design Systems Expertise: Demonstrated experience in building or maintaining a design system for multi-component, multi-platform products.
- Proficiency with Design Tools: High-level skills in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software (We are using Figma!)
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Bonus Points For:
- Accessibility Expertise: A strong understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and experience designing for users with diverse physical or cognitive abilities.
