What you’ll do:We make touch and eye tracking based assistive technology for people with communication and mobility challenges. The success of our products has life-changing impact on our customers. Our Research & Development Team develops the hardware, software, and other technology that makes that impact possible.
Are you passionate about diving deep into user needs and transforming research into impactful design? We’re looking for a dedicated UX Researcher to join our team. In this role, you will explore the minds of our users through interviews, usability testing, surveys, and more.Your insights will be the cornerstone of our product design and strategy, ensuring we create meaningful experiences that help people with communication challenges express themselves using cutting-edge eye-tracking technology.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Conduct a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, usability tests, surveys, data analytics, and card sorting, to understand the needs and challenges of AAC users, caregivers, educators, and clinicians.
- Build and manage a robust research repository, leveraging tools like Dovetail or Airtable, to organize and share insights across teams.
- Evaluate product impact through longitudinal studies and post-launch feedback to measure the effectiveness of AAC tools and solutions.
- Develop detailed user personas, journey maps, and scenarios to represent the diverse needs and experiences of our user base.
- Design and facilitate usability tests for new and existing product features, iterating based on user feedback.
- Synthesize research data into clear, actionable reports and presentations, effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and clinical researchers to turn research insights into impactful product and design solutions.
We have a hybrid model so you'll be able to have the mix of working both from our office at Löjtnantsgatan 25 and the comfort of your own home.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in user research, preferably within the healthcare or assistive technology sectors.
- Strong background in using research repositories (e.g., Dovetail, Airtable) for effective organization and dissemination of insights.
- Proficiency with research tools such as User Interviews, Maze, Optimal Workshop, Hotjar, and survey platforms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UX principles and design methodologies like Double Diamond and Design Thinking.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
