At Bygghemma, we believe that great people create great business – and we’re now looking for a driven and hands-on People & Culture Business Partner to join us on our journey to shape the future of home improvement in the Nordics.

As Sweden’s largest online retailer for building materials, home, and garden, we combine the convenience of e-commerce with the support of physical showrooms and a wide service offering. Our Malmö-based HQ is where strategy meets energy – and where your people skills will make a real impact.

Your Role

This is a broad, hands-on, and high-impact role where you'll be responsible for driving all HR-related work in Sweden. From recruitment and onboarding to employer branding, engagement, and change initiatives, you'll support our leaders and work closely with the Nordic People & Culture team to align local efforts with our shared vision.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same – and where your ability to balance operational tasks with strategic development makes all the difference.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with Swedish managers and leaders across functions, providing proactive support in all HR matters.
  • Lead and localize key people processes – from hiring and onboarding to development, health & wellbeing.
  • Ensure compliance with Swedish labor law and collective agreements and maintain strong relations with unions.
  • Be a cultural champion – driving initiatives that increase engagement, foster pride, and build an even stronger employer brand.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues across the Nordics to create consistency and shared best practices.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who thrives on ownership, values strong relationships, and enjoys making things happen. You likely have:

  • A relevant academic background in HR, Business or similar.
  • Several years of broad HR experience – including recruitment, labor law, and change work.
  • Experience working independently with HR in a business-driven setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across all levels.
  • Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Experience in a Nordic or international context and change management is a plus – but even more important is your drive, structure, and passion for people.

Ready to make an impact? Join us and become part of a company where ambition, innovation, and teamwork go hand in hand. Apply today or reach out if you have any questions – we look forward to getting to know you!
