Position: Principal Cloud Dev Ops Engineer
Previous experience: Expert in Azure and Infrastructure as Code.
Location: Malmo, Sweden – Hybrid (3 days at the office)

The Development Services EMEA team provides a global service with responsibility for the secure and efficient development environment for all AVEVA solutions. You will be a key member of the team responsible for our hybrid development environment, encompassing cloud (Azure), on-prem, and data centre resources.
Occasionally travel overseas may be required for collaboration and project needs.
Key responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain the operation, security, and monitoring frameworks for AVEVA’s hybrid development environment (Azure, on-premises, and data centre)
- Collaborate with global Development Services, product development, product security, and corporate IT/security teams
- Drive continual improvement of automation frameworks and reporting tools for system health, performance, and cost management
- Implement cloud-native technologies for resource provisioning and maintenance, security best practices, and cost control
- Support development teams by providing guidance and solutions for cloud resource utilization and optimization
- Analyse the impact of proposed changes and communicate significance to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and approval
- Lead the rollout of changes in coordination with project managers and stakeholders
- Ensure secure and efficient operation of development environments while managing confidentiality of sensitive information
- Expert in Azure and Infrastructure as Code (Ia C).
- Proven experience with provisioning cloud resources, such as: Terraform, Packer
- Clear understanding of available cloud service and deployment models, such as: Docker/Containers, Kubernetes (k8s)
- Ability to code or script with experience in developing web applications or services: Power Shell, Node.js, RESTful APIs
- Acute security awareness
- Experience with AWS and data centre solutions (VMware)
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops (VSTS)
- Experience with Datadog
- Sound knowledge of Agile development practices, continuous integration and automation tools, test driven development, continuous delivery practices
- Leadership; resolve and technical inquisitiveness with a strong focus on business outcomes.
- Keen collaboration, open communication and ability to reach across functional borders.
- Experience of working successfully in a global multi-site, multi-cultural organisation
- Ability to use a wide variety of opensource technologies and tools
- Certification in architecting cloud-based solutions using Azure/Amazon Web Services
