About the RoleAs an Embedded Software Engineer within Power Optimization, you will be part of an agile platform team working on the full software stack. Your primary focus will be to find performance improvements and optimize the infotainment system, ensuring the end-user experience is seamless and responsive.
You will work closely with a talented team of engineers, testers, and architects in the Infotainment division to:
- Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks
- Support real-time performance measurements and trends evaluation
- Develop mechanisms to prevent critical performance issues and panic scenarios
- Use specialized tools to identify memory leaks and performance-impacting code issues
- Experience with C++, C, Python, and Java in Linux development environments (strong competence in all four languages required)
- Experience with Embedded OS or Linux / QNX / AUTOSAR
- Proficiency in Test Automation using Pytest
- Knowledge of Android testing frameworks
- Experience working in a CI environment
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Experience with LIN and FlexRay
- Familiarity with Infotainment systems and the Android Automotive Platform
- Experience in Logging functionality
