To contribute to innovative sustainable energy solutions, we are looking for a Master’s student to join our team. We are a dedicated group collaborating on some of Sweden's most significant projects in energy and environmental science, and we are excited to work with Karlstad Energi on this impactful initiative.Here is the Project Overview:
Title: Integration of Carbon Capture Process in a cogeneration plant
Location: COWI Karlstad, with collaboration visits to Karlstad Energi
Tool: Aspen HYSYS for process modelling
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Model the integration of carbon capture processes using Aspen HYSYS
- Analyze various scenarios to optimize efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
- Collaborate with experts from COWI and Karlstad Energi to ensure a holistic approach.

On top of that, you will have:
- Enrollment in a Master’s program in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
