GENERAL MANAGER NORDIC
We are looking for a General Manager Nordic with strong business drive and great communication and management skills.
As a General Manager Nordic, you will lead the development of the Nordic Sales and Marketing strategy in alignment with the Regional and Divisional strategy. Nordics countries are: Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. You lead operationally Sweden and through Managing Directors other Nordic countries to achieve targeted results in both financial (P&L) and non-financial objectives, direct reports 9.
Duties:
- To lead, develop and motivate the Nordics organisation, guiding the organisation to the next level and ensure that employees are aligned with the strategic direction of the organisation.
- To develop and maintain relationships with our customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and building business opportunities
- Implement and execute this strategy, in coordination with Global Marketing, Central Logistics and the Business Units, to deliver the short-, medium- and long-term goals will be important.
- To monitor the performance of the set goals and take corrective actions when appropriate
The work requires regular travel, 5 days a month.
Your competence and experience
You have a strong leadership with a results and action orientated management style with a structured approach to problem solving and you achieve good results through others. You have at least five years’ experience, leading a team as a CEO, Managing Director, Sales Director or a similar position with demonstrated ability to encourage, motivate and challenge the team to do their best.
Your proven senior commercial leadership in B2B has led to a successful track record in commercial growth, team leadership and business development, ideally in an international business at a comparable size. Excellent Swedish and English skills – oral and written.
Experience in a construction supply related business would be beneficial.
