Yazen is a leading digital healthcare provider specializing in obesity treatment through lifestyle changes and prescription medication. Our app connects patients with doctors and registered caregivers, offering a holistic and supportive weight loss journey.
We operate in multiple markets, including Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, Norway, and Sweden.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Content creative team lead to join our team. This is not just a project management or administrative role. We seek someone with a sharp editorial eye, a knack for creating engaging, educational material, and a strategic mindset to guide the content team.
You will have a direct impact on how we communicate with our patients in our app, helping them achieve their health goals through engaging, informative, and market-tailored content. Since we are working across markets English is our first language in all that we do.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead content strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Yazen’s mission and user needs.
Evaluate and guide creative content: Assess and provide feedback on various content formats, including written articles, recipes, educational programs, and multimedia content, ensuring they are engaging, accurate, and aligned with our brand.
Drive quality and consistency: Oversee content creation and localization for all our markets, maintaining a high-quality, cohesive voice across all materials.
Collaborate across teams: Work closely within the Product team as the technical development and the design of the app takes place in other parts of the team. The role also requires working with other departments, such as marketing and medical experts, to create content that supports the app's functionalities and our patients' needs.
Data-informed decision making: Utilize content performance data and user feedback to refine the content strategy and editorial calendar.
Team planning and coordination: Manage the editorial calendar and content team workflow, ensuring efficient production, localization, and publication of content.
Who You Are:You are a creative and strategic thinker who understands the nuances of educational and engaging content within a healthcare context. You are equally comfortable with big-picture strategy and hands-on content evaluation. Your decisions will shape the quality and impact of our content, influencing how we support patients in their weight loss journey.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in content strategy, editorial leadership, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of how to create and present educational, informational, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Excellent editorial judgment and an eye for the right amount of detail in both written and multimedia content.
- Knowledge of localization practices and the ability to tailor content to different markets.
- Experience working in a digital health, wellness, or lifestyle context is a plus.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform content strategy.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in written and spoken Swedish is not a requirement but a clear advantage.
