In 2022, Instabee was founded after combining Budbee and Instabox - two leading last-mile delivery companies with three consumer-facing brands: Budbee, Instabox, and Porterbuddy. Instabee serves millions of consumers across Europe with convenient deliveries and is on track to become the leading European e-commerce enabler.Always with the consumer at heart.
We’re fast, both in terms of parcel delivery and when it comes to growing our business. So far our journey has taken us from Sweden to the rest of Scandinavia and parts of continental Europe, but we have no plans on stopping anytime soon. About the role
We’re now looking for an experienced Backend Developer who can drive the development of our admin tools and customer service solutions. The users and stakeholders for what we build are our colleagues. You’ll be working closely with Product Managers and Engineers to build and integrate customer service tools, focusing on our parcel journey system and chatbot solution.
Your expertise will shape the core of our customer service offering, and your contributions will directly enhance service efficiency across multiple channels. If you're passionate about creating robust, backend services that help other teams function seamlessly, we want to meet you!

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a senior backend developer with at least 5 years of experience. If you’ve worked in the CS domain, building back-office tools and internal service solutions, you’ll fit right in. We’re seeking someone who enjoys solving complex problems, particularly in creating efficient service solutions.
Some key skills and experiences we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in Node.js and Type Script
- Experience with customer service tools, internal admin systems, or similar domains
- Experience with any major cloud provider (e.g. AWS, GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on long-term, scalable solutions
- Experience in working with an agile development methodology
- Comfortable making decisions
- Proficient in English
