Head of Automation Strategy & Portfolio
Epiroc is looking for a forward-thinking leader to spearhead our Automation Strategy and Portfolio. Epiroc and it market leading solutions is at the forefront of driving the fully automated mine of the future. In this exciting role, you'll drive a unified agnostic, integrated and scalable automation solutions across Epiroc.You’ll act as a catalyst, helping to accelerate our Automation transformation in our industry by providing safe, productive and efficient solutions to our customers.
Your MissionAs the Head of Automation Strategy & Portfolio, you’ll take the lead in establishing a unified automation strategy across Epiroc, integrating our automation initiatives under one cohesive vision. Your mission will be to:
Align divisional strategic priorities in the area of automation, setting up governance models and structuring our full automation roadmap towards the vision of a fully automated mine.
Serve as the Program Manager for cross-divisional automation integration projects, ensuring a cohesive customer offering and the delivery of business value.
Owner of the full Automate portfolio for Digital solutions division.
Map and consolidate Epiroc’s automation product portfolio, driving innovation and identifying opportunities for in-house development, partnerships, or acquisitions.
Define and execute a joint Go-to-Market strategy to scale Epiroc’s automation business globally in the most efficient way.
Establish a common solutions architecture for all divisions to work towards, ensuring consistency and synergy across the organization.
Support the M&A team, providing insights, participate in acquisition due diligence to ensure strategic fit and maximizing business outcomes.
Continuously challenge the status quo, leveraging digital solutions to drive efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Your ProfileAt least 5 years of experience in automation, specifically within the mining industry.
Proven experience in strategy creation, as well as supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Strong background in portfolio management.
Expertise in delivering and supporting digital transformation projects.
Familiarity with mining and construction applications; direct sales or commercial experience in digital solutions is a plus.
Experience working with complex, interdisciplinary, cross-functional, and global teams.
Knowledge of Epiroc's automation solutions or competitor digital offerings is an advantage.
Location and travelsThis role can be based in Sweden, USA, Australia. Other locations where Epiroc offices are based can be discussed.
This role involves global travel (15%-25%).
