Who we are
At the department Engineering Office we are responsible for Program management, Quality assurance, Process Development and Business lead for Software and Electronics development. We secure that the organization delivers the next generation centralized computing system and electronics component in time, with the right quality and in an efficient and cost effective way.
To strengthen our focus on Quality assurance and Processes we are seeking an experienced leader to build and lead the Development Quality and Process team.
What you will do
In this role you will be responsible to build a strong quality and process team that will lead the quality assurance and development processes for the organization.- Ensure that Quality Processes are developed, followed and undergo continuous improvement over time.
- Define and monitor KPIs, including performance dialogues.
- Ensure that Software and Electronics development processes run effectively, supporting both internal as well as external customer needs.
- Plan and Perform audits and assessments based on e.g. ISO9001 and A-SPICE
- Being a strong leader to drive the Volvo Values & Culture and managing the department to achieve key business objectives.
- Previous experience within an OEM/Tier1 Quality department, ideally with focus on Software development
- Ability to drive continuous improvement by looking for new and innovative solutions
- Demonstrated leadership skills, acquired through 5 or more years in leadership roles
- Excellent communication skills (in English) via phone, in person, and through presentations
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively globally and within the region
- Exceptional People Management capability with strong interpersonal skills
- University degree or equivalent work experience within related areas
