Ensure contract excellence in large-scale projects
At NKT, we are engaged in innovative projects that drive the green transition. Our complex High Voltage cable systems are delivered as turn-key EPCi contracts used for connecting offshore renewable energy to the grid and interconnectors allowing transmission between countries.Our delivery starts with the engineering of solutions, manufacturing of cable and accessories, installation both onshore and offshore to finish of in a test to verify the system. As a contract manager with NKT you are a key player in making this delivery possible from our contractual interface with customers, permits and subcontractors, you will support across the project team with legal and commercial guidance.
The Contract Management department at NKT ensures all contractual obligations are met, maximizing our financial performance while minimizing risks. Our diverse team of contract managers is spread across Karlskrona, Malmö, Rotterdam, India, UK, and USA, efficiently supporting NKT's global projects.
We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our expanding team!
Handle contract management and risk mitigation
As a Contract Manager, you will provide contract advice and support for projects, ensuring risk mitigation during tenders and execution. You will support projects in total or in individual phases, working closely with project managers to ensure compliance with agreements and share contractual lessons learned across teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand contract and commercial bases
- Prepare contract summaries and advice
- Handle claims and coordinate with insurance and legal functions
- Assist in subcontracting for procurement
- Provide training on contract and claims management to project teams
This position is based in Karlskrona, Malmö or Rotterdam. You will report to the Director of Contract Management Department and work closely with various internal and external stakeholders.
Contract manager with attention to details
We are looking for a person with analytical and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage complex contracts. You have experience in contract management, risk mitigation and claims handling, with a focus on continuous improvement and lessons learned.
- Completed relevant studies with a focus on engineering or law.
- Experience in contract management from a project based organization.
- Knowledge of legal and insurance processes.
