We are building a new green steel plant in Boden and decided in 2024 to partner with an experienced local and global recruitment partner to establish a diverse, skilled, and high-performing blue collar workforce to start commissioning, start production, and transition into stable operations of our first plant.

Role purpose
The HR Project Manager oversees and optimes Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) operations by owning and being accountable for the interface between our outsourcing partners for Blue-collar recruitment. The role ensures that recruitment aligns with organizational goals, ensures high quality candidate experience and quality hiring of blue-collar staff by optimizing the recruitment processes and flows together with the RPO, and supports our commitment to diversity, the company’s purpose and values.The HR Project Manager manages the vendor relationships, coordinates planning and RPO project execution, control recruitment costs and track progress against targets, and ensure compliance with labor regulations and our processes, guidelines and policies.
The role has the scope of:
- Blue Collar hiring through RPO-partnership to Boden
- Manage relationships with RPO providers, including participation in contract negotiation, service level adherence and overall performance monitoring.
- Create tactical and operational plans for the blue collar hiring together with our RPO partner and lead their implementation to enable the execution of the hiring needed. Give input to strategic plans at group level.
- Work with Boden leadership team, department heads, hiring managers and interviewers to align, set and enable the execution of the needed hiring.
- Streamline RPO processes to align with our short and long-term organizational goals.
- Oversee budget and cost monitoring to optimize recruitment costs and ensure value.
- Track and report performance metrics, analyze recruitment data, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure governance and compliance in all recruitment activities, maintaining high standards for candidate quality.
- Drive engagement, ensure accountability, drive clarity and optimize ways of working in our hiring organization to ensure high quality recruitment of Blue-collar staff and candidate experience/attraction.

- University degree in relevant field
- Experience of recruitment in high growth environment, preferably inhouse.
- Experience of cross functional Project Management, preferably in cooperation with third party providers
- Experience of tactical and operational recruitment and staffing planning
- Experience of commercial partnerships and driving third party recruitment partners to deliver a volume of quality hires
- Project Management and/or Leadership skills with a track record of ensuring recruitment delivery efficiently towards set goals.
- Developed Stakeholder Management skills that meets the requirements of a highly diverse and disperse stakeholder group, managing to create alignment with and in-between stakeholders and facilitating decision making.
- Well versed in recruitment and/or staffing best practices in order to drive efficient and high impact hiring that enable the building of skilled, diverse and high performing organizations.
- Developed understanding of search, sourcing, process management, evaluation and offer management in order to act as driving counter-part to the RPO.
- Developed understanding on organizational effectiveness, implementation of organization, architecture and compensation structures.
- Commercial understanding with developed operational and tactical ability to drive third party delivery and negotiation.
- Natural tendency of collaboration and personal qualities and values that instills trust internally and externally.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and ability to find direction even in unclear situations.
- Communications skills that brings clarity to diverse internal and external audiences.
- Ability to set goals and create plans in order to reach them, while being able to follow-up on progression in constructive ways.
